Coaches, primarily from Great Britain, are selected not only for their knowledge and their coaching ability, but also for their commitment to creating a fun, positive learning environment for the players. The result is a soccer camp experience players will remember for a lifetime.

All camp sessions are based on individual attention to ball skills, as well as fun games to put those skills into practice and develop teamwork. Players are encouraged to express themselves in order to develop confidence and individual creativity on the field.

MESSAGE FROM THE REGISTRAR:

oclogo.png

Hello all Coaches from Fall 2008,

I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself to you.  Some of you got to know me last year, as I helped with registration for the U-8 and below.  My name is Tammie Moore and I will be the new registrar for the Oregon City Soccer Club for the next 2 years.  I am truly very excited for this opportunity and look forward to getting to know all of you.

I would first like to say how grateful we have been as a club to have had Brenda Stevens as our clubs registrar for the last 10 years.  Brenda did a fabulous job; I and our club will miss her greatly.   I know her shoes will be big and hard to fill.  I have much to learn and truly look forward to the challenges that lay ahead.

As my first order of business, last year we as a club voted to refund all head coaches per team their child's soccer fee back.  I need to get a list of the head coaches that paid last year and have not yet received their refund.  I would like to submit this list to the treasure by Feb. 1st.  So if you did pay for your child to play and you were the head coach of the team and have not received a refund please let me know through e-mail.

SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR 2009

Spring Soccer for players that are U-8 and below:

  • I would like to find out if there are any players/coaches that played U-8 and below soccer that would be interested in participating in a Player/Coach 3 week spring soccer camp.
  • This Soccer Camp would be lead by our new head coach.  The camp would cover for Coaches: coaching skill drill and information on how to coach a player to their fullest potential.  For the Players: There will be skill drills and lots of fun games
  • Registration Fees for the camp are: $25.00 for one child and $10.00 for each additional child in a family.  (Please let me know if your family may need assistance as there are scholarships available)
  • Targeted dates for this camp are:  Saturday April 4, 10, 17
  • Targeted Time are: (10am-12pm)

There are many new opportunities opening up for spring and fall this year.  Currently our new Head Soccer Coach; Jarrod Slaughter, is working on putting together spring and fall soccer camps for kids and coaches.  There will be many new updates to come, so please watch our website for updates.

Our Classic program is moving forward.  There are many new opportunities that lay within this group as well.  The new Classic coordinator is Desia Bramel.   Desia served for many years as our clubs treasure.  I am confident her experiences and love of soccer will lead our classic program to new heights.  There will be plenty of updates to come in the world of Classic, so again please watch our website for key information.

Again I look forward to hearing from all of you and please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Best,

Tammie Moore

Somewhere behind the athlete you've become, the hours of practice, the coaches who pushed you, the teammates who believe in you, and the fans who cheer for you is the little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back, ALWAYS PLAY FOR HER."
